NET Certification Exam

Overview

The Nutritional Education Trainer Certification Exam is a 3-part exam where you will be tested on the fundamentals of nutrition and Dr. Fuhrman's preventative and therapeutic diet-styles based on superior nutrition. This exam consists of the following parts:

Practice Quizzes

It is highly recommended that you pass each practice quiz with 100% before proceeding to the official exam. You may take each practice quiz as many times as you wish and your results do not in any way affect your official grade. When you are done, you can access your results by going to "My Account > Quiz Results".

Part 1: The basics

Overview: Part 1 of the exam is titled, "The Basics". This portion of the exam will test you on the fundamental concepts of nutrition. After studying the reading materials below you will have a firm grasp on what is being taught in today's leading nutrition classes. A significant amount of time should be invested in the reading materials before attempting this part of the exam.

Part 2: Dr. Fuhrman's Body of Knowledge

Overview: Part 2 of the exam is titled, "Dr. Fuhrman's Body of Knowledge". This portion of the exam will test you on informtion from all of Dr. Fuhrman's published books as well as non-published material included in the NET Handbook such as Dr. Fuhrman's Healthy Times newsletters, articles, tutorials and select scientific literature. A significant amount of time should be invested in the reading materials before attempting this part of the exam.

Part 3: Client Application

Overview: Part 3 of the exam is titled, "Client Application". This portion of the exam will test your knowledge on appropriate advice in certain situations. The materials from the preceeding parts of the NETCE as well as the NET Handbook should be thoroughly reviewed before attempting part 3. Part 3 will be manually graded by a NEI staff member and you will receive an email within 10 business days of completion informing you of your final grade. A grade of 85% or higher will be required to pass. There are 10 questions and each question will be given a total value of 10 points.
